Why we built it
Renters bounce from empty listings. Leasing teams burn out doing live walks for prospects who never sign.
Most listings are photos of empty rooms. The walls are white, the carpet is new, and there's nothing in the frame to suggest a person lives there. Renters scroll past.
Leasing teams already know this. They drive the same loop through the models five days a week, repeat the same answers about the gym hours and the dog park, and hope the unit feels like home once someone's standing in it.
Apateo is what we'd want if we were on either side of that. A real scan of the actual unit, furnished with stuff you can actually buy, and an agent that knows the building well enough to answer questions at 11pm on a Sunday. Tour it from your couch. Sign the lease without a second visit.

Yudhisteer Chintaram
CEO and Founder
Yudhisteer(Yuvish) is the founder and CEO of Apateo. He's an Applied Scientist by training, most recently at Amazon and previously a Hardware Engineer at Microsoft. He holds an MSc in Data Science from the University of Rochester and an Engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Nantes. Outside Apateo, he volunteers with Search and Support San Antonio.
